Phoebe’s Light, by Suzanne Woods Fisher

Blogger Susan Karsten here. Richly historical at its base, this novel departs from the norm and ventures into Quaker history, rather than the popular Amish history.

Twisting and turning, the plot holds together like a finely woven basket — holding all the elements in near-perfect construction. Page-turningly gripping, yet full of generous helpings of historical detail, this book rises above the average.

Betrayal and deceit dog the innocent Phoebe, and her outcome is one the reader will eagerly await while turning the pages of this gripping tale. The characters are well-drawn, the setting fascinating, and the plot hinges on a realistic drama.

I recommend it.

Susan Karsten’s debut historical Christian regency romance is available on Amazon!
