Honor Redeemed, by Christine Johnson

I was wowed by this book. A real winner in the historical romance genre. Set in 1852, the story takes you on a journey from Nantucket to Key West–and that’s just in the novel’s opening chapter. The premise was fresh, and the conflicts on the road to happiness were what I consider to be quite original.

The author kept me guessing for most of the book on how she would resolve the obstacles to happiness for our heroine. With some romances, of course, it’s foregone conclusion that hero and heroine will definitely end up together. In this exciting story, she really keeps you guessing on that.

Well-written, I can easily understand why the author, Christine Johnson, is multi-published and has been a finalist for a prestigious writing contest.
