Book Review: “The Bishop’s Son”, by Kelly Irvin

100_8686Kelly Irvin is my favorite author in the Amish genre. She brings a needed touch of realism to her tales of Amish life. Not idolizing the Amish, as if they were more holy than mainstream Christians, she yet brings interesting tales off their unusual beliefs and lifestyle.

In this offering, a young lady battles her desires. Shall she stay in the Amish community, or allow herself to love a man who is leaving?
